As well, there are globally recognized methodologies you can study and receive accreditations for. The two most common of these are the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF - http://www.microsoft.com/business/services/framework.asp) and the Project Management Institute (PMI - http://www.pmi.org) certifications. These courses and resources can provide you with an extensive degree of information and techniques not covered in this chapter.
